Are You Findings Some Things That Have Changed?

As I age, I am noticing certain things that weren't a problem when I was younger are not being an issue. My bowels and urination system seem to be all out of whack where they used to be just fine. My memory is shot. It used to be fine, and I could remember poems and favorite parts from books. Not so anymore. My energy is pretty much nil and void where I used to have quite a bit of it. My skin has taken on this weird dry look like a desert. It's odd. I load up on the lotion, but it only helps for a little while. I guess I need Vitamin E. My nails grow longer faster now than they ever have.
So, what about you? Have you noticed any changes at the years add up?

Everything that you mentioned has changed and more. I lost my mobility about 15 years ago. That was the worst change. My memory is concerning when it comes to everyday objects. I need to talk to my PCP about that. I can remember passwords and phone numbers, etc., but not the common things.

I know how that is. I can recall things if I use them daily. But, I'm am sure glad I have a cell phone and am able to set alarms for appointments and household chores. That really helps.

I’ve always been scatterbrained, so if I lost my memory I wouldn’t know. (Truth!)
Oh, yes, though, I notice many things slide. My skin was horribly dry this past winter. Of course, there’s hearing and pains in body parts I didn’t even know I had. And to think, Mick Jagger was all of 22 when he wrote that line, “What a drag it is getting old.” HA!

I'm sorry to hear that. My sleep is pretty good, my schedule just keeps changing.

A lot has changed over the years. Now a days I can't walk longer than I used to because of gout and I'm not even that old yet.

Yes, aging definitely brings its own surprises.. some small, some more frustrating. Energy and memory seem to be the ones people notice first, along with little body quirks like skin changes

Not much. I hate the cold more than I used to. I have to take pills now. But I am still doing things I enjoy

Same with me. I still feel youthful cognitively but yeah, the looks have changed dramatically.
