Well… kind of. Just hear me out, and try not to gag. And let me be clear—I’m not endorsing this presidential “delicacy,” nor am I volunteering as tribute to taste-test it. So, there’s this TikTok guy I watch who makes videos trying out U.S. presidents’ favorite meals. His handle across all platforms is CookingWithCongress, and it’s actually pretty entertaining. Anyway, the episode we watched tonight was on Woodrow Wilson. And let me tell you—his idea of breakfast made me almost eject the chicken wrap I’d eaten half an hour earlier. For breakfast, Wilson enjoyed two raw eggs whisked into grape juice. Yes. You read that correctly. Raw. Eggs. In grape juice. Supposedly, his doctor recommended it to help him gain weight… but honestly, it feels like the type of medical advice you’d only get in 1915, right next to “try cocaine for a headache.” Personally, I think the only guaranteed result from this concoction would be fast-track diarrhea and maybe a lifelong distrust of Welch’s. Fun random fact: Woodrow Wilson was the first U.S. president to have a PhD. Which makes it even more baffling that he looked at a glass of purple egg sludge and thought, “Yeah, this checks out.” So, would you try this?
