there are hoardings alarming swimmers about sharks

In the radhanagar beach in Havelock island as the Andaman Sea has diverse biosphere there are alarming hoardings. They say while swimming one should not venture deep into the sea to stay away from sharks salt water crocodiles stone fish to name a few dangerous sea creatures. I swam at the surface water only.

We have signs like that on our beaches too. Every year, people die from shark attacks.
