Ten more sleeps before I trot off to the delightful county of Cork for a week’s sojourn to mark the occasion of my wife’s forty first wedding anniversary. And mine. It’s also her birthday. Staying with travelling, I got no sleep last night because I mistakenly thought I had enough frequent flyer points to take the three of us to Yerevan with Qatar airways in business class. My current dream destination. Alas I was reading it incorrectly and I only had enough points for one person. I still had sufficient to fly in economy but I’m not doing that for a 7 hour flight from Dublin to Doha and then another 4 hours on to Yerevan then doing it all in reverse a few weeks later. I know @looeyville would, but I am not she. So Yerevan is still on the long finger. Moreover, flights to Yerevan from Western Europe all arrive in the small hours of the morning which is no good at all.
