A sad street.

It has become my daily habit to check the deaths column on line. It’s not out of idle, morbid curiosity - it’s because every day I come across someone I have known or a member of their family. Today not only was there a familiar name recorded, but I noticed that two days ago three men from the same street in Belfast expired and were reposing at home until their funerals tomorrow. What are the chances? That is going to be one busy street tomorrow, and I’m quite certain that people will be getting mixed up and will tag on to the wrong funeral possession. It’ll be an undertaker’s nightmare.

Too depressing for me, I only check out any deaths if it seems I have not seen certain names for a long time,

I check the Obits every day too. Every once and a while I find someone that used to work with my husband.

That sounds like it might be quite unusual to have three die in the one street.

Reading the obituaries is kind of depressing reading the headlines from Microsoft about celebrities passing away.
