Rohu and mrigel are two types of carps. they are river fishes. they are good for health.In bengal they are popular. they are cooked with potatoes and a watery curry is created which is eaten with rice. The shape of the heads identify the fishes.

I know very little about our own fish and wouldn't be able to tell one from another.
