What's for lunch?

I just had some homemade chicken salad on a bed of lettuce. That worked out well because I have leftover rotisserie chicken, some grapes I need to use, nuts, celery that has started to go limp etc. It really turned out quite well. I will make it again at some point. What do you like to put in your chicken salad?

We had a cheese calzone for lunch. It was ages I did not have one. We stopped at a pizzeria, ordered one and brought it home to have for lunch. It was really good.

@LadyDuck I hope it is consistently good. There is an Italian place here that has good food, and once I had an amazing calzone there. I went back six months later and it wasn't that good.

I couldn't go all day without eating. I don't think it's healthy either.

I had a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with whipped cream cheese. It was nice. You might not believe this, but I have never ever made chicken salad. I am sure that it was good.

@snowy22315 Tuna salad, that I can and have done. And you know that I have never made potato salad. But that being said, I don't like potato salad, or macaroni salad. I have odd taste as far as that is concerned, my mother used to make 2 hot meals the entire time that I lived at home, there was dinner (noon) and supper. Farmer's wives cook big.

Yeah, I do, I would have mixed it with plain yogurt, but don't think I have any.

My stepmom puts grapes, onions, and walnuts in her chicken salad and, of course, the mayonnaise. I don’t eat croissants anymore, but Ibused to love it on a croissant.

I didn't add any onions but I could have. I had some cashews with it..pecans or walnuts work really well too.
