I've tried a lot of different ways to get healthier. First of all, I've made an effort to exercise daily. After work, I went to the neighborhood to walk. I have also occasionally trained at home. Additionally, I have made an effort to consume more healthful foods and avoid fast food. In addition, I haven't had any alcohol in almost ten years. I do these things to stay in shape.
How about you, guys?

I see my doctor(s) regularly, eat good foods in moderation and take my prescribed medications twice a day. I'm losing weight and staying engaged with friends on myLot...
I don't avoid the things I like such as candy or fast foods. Avoiding those only opens you up to binging. Keeping the things you love in your diet in moderation helps you to maintain the diet and continue losing weight.

@DaddyEvil I am also feeling the same way. When I was young, I do not need to care about my weight. When I started to gain weight, I was alarmed and decided to do something about it.

@Shavkat I haven't weighed myself for this month yet but since May, I've lost a total of 40 lbs, so far... My doctor was happy with this amount when I saw her a few weeks ago. I am happy losing this much weight.

I eat a lot of fruit. Most significantly, I lost 60-65 pounds over three years, which has helped tremendously. I never smoked and I don’t drink (don’t like the taste). And, like you, I make an effort to exercise — usually walking — daily.

I am conscious of what I eat and see that I sleep well and do a bit of mild exercise

I turned 40 last year and took to exercising.
I started this because I noticed some changes. My body isn't as forgiving of the things I used to get away with in my 20s and 30s. Sighs

you eat all your veggies & leave the fast foods alone along with the sweets
& get plenty of rest & fresh air that helps the body more than you know.

Previously I was very sedentary but there came a time when I turned 40 and said I wanted to have another career as a teacher. I didn't want to stay there doing nothing, just with my role as a mother, and here as a student teacher, from the first semester you have to do internships at the school. You know how kids are, they drop the juice, they drop the eraser, they drop the sharpener, they drop the pencil, they drop the water and you have to constantly do squats. I've been in my career for 3 years. When I started, I was rusty, I had back and leg pain. Now look at me today.I have too much energy, the daily routine made me active again, not to mention that I have to do dance therapy for them twice a week.As a method of activating your energy I am now the most energetic teacher and have lost a few kilos
