Bored is something we want to avoid. Right? Answer is wrong. Boredom allows us to use a part of our brain that can bring some positive results. If I'm doing something and get bored, I start looking for something else to entertain me for a while. myLot is entertaining as is reading a good book, cooking delicious food or just walking, thinking my own thoughts. Do you know the young lady in the photo?

She is not real. I made her. It was fairly easy to do actually. It is terrific that you have things to do and they are rewarding. The video that I watched wasn't actually about a solution to boredom but on embracing it. Why feel bad or beat yourself up because you are bored but allow you mind to wander it said. It is normal though for people to become uncomfortable if bored. It also mentioned phone addiction which isn't allowing you to be a little bored occasionally.

@mynameiskate And why did you make the young lady? Were you bored? Why would anyone feel bad about being bored? Just look for something else to do.

@DaddyEvil Oh! If I get bored its like I am a terrible person or so my inner voice tells me. The video suggested embrace it and let your mind explore. (my inner voice needs a calm down and be more tolerant - lol) I made the young lady in the rocking chair so as to enter an online contest. :)

I’m bored way too often, but I always remember what my dad would say to me while I was growing up and I’d say I was bored. “You’re bored? I’ll give you something to do?” And whatever it was that he wanted me to do made me long for boredom.

I don't like boredom, but I can usually find something to do I find entertaining.
