Movie: Lost City of Z

I seen the name of this movie a while back maybe when it was first released in 2017. I didn’t watch it then; I thought for some reason that it was going to be some zombie movie or something like that. I was so wrong. I don’t know what made me decide to take another look but I’m glad I did; it ended up being a good movie. It’s based on a real-life person that sadly I never heard of. Percy Fawcett, a British explorer from the early 20th century who explored the Amazon in search of a lost city he called the lost city of Z. Over his life he made many trips to the Amazon in search of this city. The movie runs 2 hours 21 minutes and stars Charlie Hunnan, Sienna Miller, and Robert Pattinson. The movie takes us through his attempts to local this lost city and how he went from being laughed at by his belief to a respected and famous explorer. If you haven’t seen this, it is an interesting and entertaining story. Another good performance by Charlie Hunnan. I would give it 3.8 stars out of 5. It was interesting and good acting, though there are spots in the movie it slows to a crawl and almost lost my interest.
