Apple picking day …..

So the apple tree in our garden is absolutely full of apples. We have already picked loads and given some to my Mom and a neighbour. When I say we , I mean, The Mister. As I still can’t quite manage that yet.
However, they were starting to fall again so he has just spent nearly an hour picking as many as he could …..even standing on the garage roof so that he could reach more.
Luckily we have plenty of blackberries …..that I did pick ….so I’m looking forward to the crumbles.
Mom promised to make some crumbles this week.
Yummy.

Do you pick them up when they are fallen or pluck them from the tree?

@Traceyjayne We have problems harvesting our jack fruits as they are tall and no one wants to climb

We have a ton of pears on our tree. Cousin #2 took some of them. A crumble sounds so good.
