I do it sometimes when I cannot express my displeasure with certain people. It happened today I was told they will pick me up at a certain time. I got ready and they did not turn up at the time that was specified I called them up and they said there is heavy traffic and they will be late. This is what I said to the wall "Come on you sure know at the time specified therfe will be heavy traffic and that is not new. Could you not have taken that into account and started a bit early? You call yourself educated and disciplined and this much did not occur to you I was ready at the specified and you made me wait. I do not like this. Are you listening? " And when they arrived and apologised I just said its ok it happens When was the last time you spoke to the wall and what was it about?

I say things silently to myself... No need to say things out loud. You never know when there is a device that can hear you around anymore.

I have done it many a times. There are words going on in my mind and many a times even curse . But then saying it out would ruin the situation or relationship or can even leave a hurting impact for long. And I am not very good at hiding my facial expressions either. So, I just excuse myself from there, go to washroom ( if it's accessible) and say things to the mirror. . Else I will walk around a bit till the expression of disappointment or anger on my face fades away

@allknowing Yes, writing down or just talking to walls is a good way to vent them out and feel better. It's a safe option too.
