Out for a walk and a catch up with a neighbour ….

So, I have a couple of walking apps that I use which also earn me some money ….not a lot , but anything is better than nothing , right ?
Anyways, I have just been out and realised that our bin hadn’t been brought back up our drive. Our lovely neighbour usually does it as I’m usually at work or at Moms.
Anyway, when I was almost home from my walk, the lovely neighbour comes out. We had a lovely chat for a long time. She did say they had been out today …..last day with their Grandchildren before they go back to school tomorrow.
She offered to bring the bin up as usual and I did thank her as it would be a help. I have to bring it up the drive with only one hand and run the risk of bumping into The Misters car !
We are so lucky to have such great neighbours.

@traceyjayne We have little old ladies in their 90s on either side of us who never make a sound. I dread them dying and their houses being bought by young people of a more rambunctious disposition.

Yes, that is a worry. Our lovely neighbours don’t make a sound and even when they have the Grandkids we hardly hear them ……very different to when our Grandkids come, I’m sure.
They mention every now and then that they ‘ might ‘ move closer to their son and daughter. I keep telling the that they can’t go. Good neighbours need to be treasured.

@Traceyjayne or may be, it is to motivate those who are lazy and thereby incorporate healthy habits

You are very lucky. The lady across the street brings mine back every week. I usually give her a gift card for Christmas.
