Good afternoon,
If you've been here for as long as I have, you might know that I'm a person with a disability.
I'm currently in the process of applying for the self directed Medicaid waiver in my state.
This will enable me to remain at home with more care and more hours. This is excellent, but I'm disappointed that the income limits will prevent me from working full time.
Over the course of my life, my remaining at home will be less expensive for my state than my living in a nursing home.

I hope that everything works out for you. I hope you can stay in your own home. Apart from saving the state money I am sure you will be happier and feel more st ease.
