Renewing the faith

I really don't know what religion or beliefs you profess, there came a time in my life when the daily routine, work, children, school, my studies, among other things, made little Little by little I was distancing myself from God to the point of minimizing Him in my daily life. Just as I distanced myself from the community, I also distanced myself a little from God, from praying for food, from giving thanks for each meal, from giving thanks in the morning for each day of my life, for my health, for my children, for everything. And just as I began to forget about God, my blessings gradually faded away. My situation began to worsen to the point that I recently hit rock bottom in my life. Then a friend told me that prayer has power, that just as we ignore God, he does not impose it, if you do not want to follow him, he simply lets you go alone on the path.To then realize that even so he follows your steps, I reconnected with my faith with the power of prayer and I can tell you that in record time I got up from the ground where I was. Only you have the power to pray and move forward no matter how hard the test is. If you truly believe in God, He Himself will show you that He has the last word. Above any diagnosis, above any prognosis, above man, only he has the last word in your life and that is where what we call miracles happen.

Maybe I am a cynic, lol. I mean, if you are on an airplane and the wings fall off, all the prayer in the world won't bring the wings back. The idea that God is all powerful has been proven wrong more times than it has ever been proven right, and graveyards are full of believers whose lives were snuffed out well before their time.
Sorry to be a party pooper. lol

If you have seen cases where the wings of the plane come off and only one passenger survives, as was the case in India, I believe that sometimes God does not act as we believe, nor does he intend for us to understand. All his designs but for some reason we all have a useful life at some point we will have to die in a certain way we all have a sealed destiny

@YuleimaVzla lol. I have heard this explanation before and it always comes off to me as, "It may not make sense, but just believe me, He has a plan."
That reaks of someone about to take all my money with a smile saying, "Just trust me, I know what I'm doing," right before I go broke.
Again, sorry. I'm not trying to poo-poo on anyone's faith. It's just hard for me to be reasonable and have faith at the same time, because I find the two cancel each other out.
Whenever I read fantastical fiction which includes horror, fantasy, and science fiction, in order to be entertained and shocked and horrified, I have to suspend my disbelief so that the wizards and ghosts and trolls are real to me. But when the final page is turned and the covers closed, I still walk away knowing full well what I read was just a story. After I'm done reading, I have to step back into reality and return to my sense.
As I always say about religion, I hope I am wrong about it. At the same time, I have a strong feeling I am right. Even beyond that, with so many different religions in the world, it becomes clear to me that if any one was the right one, it would be the only one.

We human beings have different ways of relating to each other religiously, different ways of seeing life, analyzing or from a philosophical point of view, the truth is that we all believe in something and we need to believe.

Without a doubt, my friend, this is the wisest advice you can give me and that I can also give to other people. We ourselves are living testimony of the positive changes that prayer can bring.
