To the pub and a new band

So until I broke my arm we went to our local pub on a Saturday night. They have the Strongbow cider that The Mister drinks and they have live music on.
Since April I have not been and The Mister has only been about three times …he has been staying in with me …..bless him.
I did say that I felt okay to go back ….so tonight we went. …we had been out during the day so went straight there ….we like to sit on the sofa , and it is a popular spot.
When we arrived we expected the pub to be full, as there was a new band on and we thought people would come and support them. However the place was almost empty.
I felt sorry for the band.
They were okay …a little more rehearsing needed maybe ….

At least you got out and did something you and your hubby enjoyed.
It's early evening here and I'm trying to decide what to make for our supper tonight.

I think going to pubs and the cost of drinks has become rather expensive, I am enjoying a seried of Untold ER stories on YouTube I do not step out of my apartment, How is your arm is it all right now?

Tonight I went to work as usual, nothing really interesting. Just going through the daily routine was enough.
And I hope this tiredness will allow me to get a good night's sleep later.

I'm sorry the band was a disappointment. At least you got out. I work in my word puzzle books and watch TV....read an occasional magazine. It's just me.
