He disturbed my sleep. Happy for that...

I went to sleep around 11 PM, waited an extra hour post my bedtime to see the eclipse. Drizzling did stop after 10:30 but the stubborn clouds refused to nudge off. I was too exhausted, left the hope and went downstairs to sleep with my daughter. My husband wanted to watch a movie and keep waiting on luck to witness the celestial phenomenon. Just around 11:30, he came down excitedly and woke us up to rush to the terrace. Though the dark clouds were still not fully gone, we could see this moon in picture and clicked. We watched it for a while and then went back to sleep around midnight. I get really annoyed when my sleep is disturbed. I even get a headache. But yesterday, it was worth to be disturbed to get a glimpse of this beauty. My elder daughter could see it better than us as they had no rain and cloud in their city. It's Monday morning here. I am at work. I am done with the sessions with three children and that's all for the work part. I am waiting to collect some books from Primary school teacher to make a lesson plan for one child who is very smart otherwise but struggles with academics. He will come to me twice a week from next week and that would be a after school work at my place. We still have to sort things out and see how I can accommodate him in home therapy at my place. There is a meeting with parent tomorrow after my work hours. It's Monday and it's a bright sunny pleasant morning on this side. Hooe that the new week is great for everyone. I will read thr new posts till the teacher comes to give me the book. I will again come here once I reach home. I would love to walk back home in this pleasant weather Take care. Will move to reading your discussions now.

Hmm...not sure about first time but yes, they reported that it was one of the longest ones globally in recent times. Even I was not aware of it, I got to know from one of the WhatsApp group.

What a beautiful and heartfelt update! It’s amazing how nature can pull us out of routine and gift us such special moments, even if they come with lost sleep and clouded skies. I'm glad you still got to witness the eclipse. It sounds magical. Wishing you the best as you support that bright child with academics; your dedication really shines through. Hope your Monday continues to be as sunny and uplifting as your morning. Take care!

Thank you..Nature is the best artist, such interesting and amazing celestial phenomenon. I couldn't get a good sleep later too. But it's okay. I was not lethargic when I got up early. I am not feeling tired. I will just go early to bed tonight. I am really hopeful that he will benefit from these after school remedial classes with me. Things would become more clear and sorted after tomorrow's meeting with parents. Let's wait and see Thank you for all your kind and encouraging words. Have a good time.

Glad you were able to watch it. Here, it was said to have happened around 1 AM, so I guess most people were already asleep unless they were really into it and stayed up late to see it. That’s probably why it wasn’t that sensationalized, or maybe I just caught it on the news. I did see some people manage to take shots of it and post them on social media.

Are you a tutor too? Is the moon blood moon?

I'm glad you're having a good morning there. I have several things I need to do after the sun comes up here. I need to check fluids in the car and then call a mechanic to come jumpstart the car. We have a doctor appointment in the morning and Pretty needs to have a blood test run, too. We need to go to the grocery store and something else that I can't remember right now. Of course, that all depends on me being able to see to drive in the morning... My eyes are open now but that doesn't mean they'll still be open when the car is running again.
