He disturbed my sleep. Happy for that...

I went to sleep around 11 PM, waited an extra hour post my bedtime to see the eclipse. Drizzling did stop after 10:30 but the stubborn clouds refused to nudge off. I was too exhausted, left the hope and went downstairs to sleep with my daughter. My husband wanted to watch a movie and keep waiting on luck to witness the celestial phenomenon. Just around 11:30, he came down excitedly and woke us up to rush to the terrace. Though the dark clouds were still not fully gone, we could see this moon in picture and clicked. We watched it for a while and then went back to sleep around midnight. I get really annoyed when my sleep is disturbed. I even get a headache. But yesterday, it was worth to be disturbed to get a glimpse of this beauty. My elder daughter could see it better than us as they had no rain and cloud in their city. It's Monday morning here. I am at work. I am done with the sessions with three children and that's all for the work part. I am waiting to collect some books from Primary school teacher to make a lesson plan for one child who is very smart otherwise but struggles with academics. He will come to me twice a week from next week and that would be a after school work at my place. We still have to sort things out and see how I can accommodate him in home therapy at my place. There is a meeting with parent tomorrow after my work hours. It's Monday and it's a bright sunny pleasant morning on this side. Hooe that the new week is great for everyone. I will read thr new posts till the teacher comes to give me the book. I will again come here once I reach home. I would love to walk back home in this pleasant weather Take care. Will move to reading your discussions now.

Hmm...not sure about first time but yes, they reported that it was one of the longest ones globally in recent times. Even I was not aware of it, I got to know from one of the WhatsApp group.

What a beautiful and heartfelt update! It’s amazing how nature can pull us out of routine and gift us such special moments, even if they come with lost sleep and clouded skies. I'm glad you still got to witness the eclipse. It sounds magical. Wishing you the best as you support that bright child with academics; your dedication really shines through. Hope your Monday continues to be as sunny and uplifting as your morning. Take care!

Thank you..Nature is the best artist, such interesting and amazing celestial phenomenon. I couldn't get a good sleep later too. But it's okay. I was not lethargic when I got up early. I am not feeling tired. I will just go early to bed tonight. I am really hopeful that he will benefit from these after school remedial classes with me. Things would become more clear and sorted after tomorrow's meeting with parents. Let's wait and see Thank you for all your kind and encouraging words. Have a good time.

I'm glad you're having a good morning there. I have several things I need to do after the sun comes up here. I need to check fluids in the car and then call a mechanic to come jumpstart the car. We have a doctor appointment in the morning and Pretty needs to have a blood test run, too. We need to go to the grocery store and something else that I can't remember right now. Of course, that all depends on me being able to see to drive in the morning... My eyes are open now but that doesn't mean they'll still be open when the car is running again.

I hope that you could do all that you had planned to. And you were able to see and drive. Hopefully, all okay with doctor's appointment and Pretty's blood test. Mylot is being very slow on my side. One day I had problem with my internet speed. But on other days, it was the site acting up. Other sites were working fine. I could not be much here. I hope that it is all okay now.

@arunima25 Pretty's blood test came out fine, thank you. We'll find out about my ultrasound later today according to the ultrasound tech. The car is running fine now, thank goodness. We've gone several places and picked up groceries from two different places now The site is having a problem the last few days. Nobody could post pictures. I hope that gets fixed soon. There weren't very many people here this weekend. Everything was running slowly.

@DaddyEvil Glad that the car could run smoothly and you could go ahead with the plans. Happy to know about Pretty's blood report..I hope that all is well with your ultrasound too. I wanted to be here as I had some free time at hand. But the site was so slow that it got frustrating. Hope that all is fixed. The activities here are reducing with time. Hope that it picks up soon.

It was indeed beautiful. My daughter sent one from her hostel and that was too good. They had no rain and cloud and could see it better.

Glad you were able to watch it. Here, it was said to have happened around 1 AM, so I guess most people were already asleep unless they were really into it and stayed up late to see it. That’s probably why it wasn’t that sensationalized, or maybe I just caught it on the news. I did see some people manage to take shots of it and post them on social media.

It started around 9:50PM and went till 1 AM. It was one of the longest eclipse in the recent times. We could see it only around 11:30 after the rain stopped. Yes, people shared beautiful pictures on social media. My elder daughter sent a beautiful one, they had clear view with no clouds. Ours was not so clear with clouds and it rained till 10:30.

Yes, at times, some things are worthwhile even when they disturb a part of our routine. It will be a task for you to work with that smart kid, but well, you have the experience as well! Even after so many rains this year, it is quite hot today although the humidity is manageable. The ACs are in full steam now. I have not been that active here since quite many weeks. Yet, I have found time today and yesterday to do a lot. I sometimes remember past days - even the time of Covid : 2020 when Mylot was so much more bustling. The time never stays the same and the speed of change only seems to have accelerated.

This was a beautiful moon worth getting disturbed in deep sleep. Did you see it? I have started working with him. It's going good ao far. I know that you are busy with the new role and responsibilities at work front. Good that you could find some time to be online and be active. Yes, the activities here are getting lesser and lesser. Many active members are missing.

I take remedial sessions and therapy sessions for special needs children and youth. I also do counselling for them and the family. Yes, it is blood moon. We had a total lunar eclipse and it was a long one

So glad you still got to see the eclipse despite the clouds. Your husband’s excitement made it even more special. I get you on being annoyed when sleep is disturbed, but sometimes it’s worth it. Sounds like a busy but fulfilling Monday ahead for you, hope the meeting goes well tomorrow and that you enjoy your sunny walk home.
