Well, I wanted a name to explain the symptoms I'm having and now I have it.
Also called Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, it's an auto-immune disorder. Well that explains a lot.
The internet says that people with Hashimoto's "Most people eventually develop hypothyroidism with accompanying weight gain, fatigue, constipation, hair loss, and general pains."
Apparently this chronic fatigue and weakness I've been having has been what they call a "flare-up" of Hashimoto's.
Now I've known for 10+ years that I had hypothyroidism and I take Levothyroxine for it every morning. But nobody ever told me about the Hashimoto's. I had an ultrasound of my thyroid done this morning and it looked like Swiss Cheese. Not good. Several nodules, but nothing cancerous looking.
So it doesn't bother or worry me that I have Hashimoto's, but now at least I know WHY I'm feeling the way that I do.

Has a doctor confirmed this? I'm sorry you're having so much physical difficulty.

@LooeyVille I'm so sorry. Getting old sucks. I never thought I'd have kidney disease. I'm going to have to change my whole diet; and I don't want to change at my age!!!

You can refer to a yoga expert. I think light exercises they give can slowly cure you of your ailment.

I’m sitting here looking it up, and it’s interesting that foods you’ve mentioned as hurting you are things that people with Hashimoto’s are encouraged to avoid…like gluten and dairy.
Definitely keeping you in my prayers.

I've had Graves' Disease for almost twenty years but wasn't diagnosed with it until about 5 years ago. Now, I take Methimazole every morning... But that doesn't help the damage already done to my system by the faulty thyroid gland.
