Good morning from this side of the planet. It's bright and sunny morning here with pleasant breeze.. Lovely weather here. So, I took early morning sessions on the verandah..we got some good dose of Vitamins C. I am done with two morning sessions and that's all for my individual sessions here. I have group art sessions with Grade 4 and 5 together at 11:30 It's 10:16 AM. And I have some time before a meeting with parents to discuss about their child and the extra help thar he might need with his struggle in academics. They should be here by 10:40. I can enjoy some mylotting in this break time . I am sipping herbal tea and really enjoying it. That's what they have started serving from this academic year to teachers. Earlier we had option of milk tea and milk coffee/ black coffee. Everyone could order by 10 and they are served by 10:15 to teachers. This is the time for short break/ fruit break/ snacks break for students. Now, we have the third option of herbal tea and almost everyone except few who go for black coffee go for it. It's healthier and really tastes good and refreshing. It's fresh Tulsi ( basil leaves), ginger, cloves, a pinch of cinnanom boiled with little ( not too sweet) palm jaggery..I just love it. And it does keep our throats soothing in this cold and rainy weather. I will sip it and continue being here till the parents come. Have a good time I'm your myLot corner. Stay happy and healthy.

Do you drink tea regularly? That's a lot of tea to be consumed alone. And they might get ruined if kept for long. You can have a tea party everytime someone comes over. You can have them with your cousins when they visit you

@allknowing Yes, and the clove is also soothing. Teachers need them in break time to sooth their throats. . Very thoughtful of school to provide a healthy option. Now, almost everyone goes for herbal tea. It tastes really good.

Of late, I have not been having Green Tea that much these days. In fact, I have been having Soft drinks(Thumbs Up, Pepsi, Coke etc.) more these days. I know that it is not good. Yet, somehow either more stress or other factors are making me do it. I would somehow control it. I do sometimes have Green Tea in office after reaching there. It helps in neutralizing effects of heavy meal. After tonnes of rains here this season, we are having hot and humid days although the humidity is not as high as it was in June and July. I am in a new position and our Project is in fire fighting mode since last many weeks. It is a new role for me. Learnings as well as challenges but somehow I am also enjoying it in many ways.

@arunima25 Seepage can be annoying and troubling. In our place, we got a few walls fixed for seepage. But one major one remains. Not able to get it done due to busy schedule, as fixing takes multiple rounds and multiple workers' visits.

@arunima25 If all the rains on Bangalore were to be diverted to other Indian cities, water problems of many would be solved !! But yes, tough to get seepage repair work done in such a weather !!

It's raining heavy everyday here. And that has been for last 4 months. Annoying to have damp weather every day. We have some seepage coming in two places, something we never had before. But this excessive rain has made it worse. And it can't be fixed till we get dry weather. Yes, stress makes you do things that you do despite knowing that it is wrong. At least you realize it and you can try to get rid of it. Happy to know that despite the challenges, you are enjoying it. All the best.

@Dreamerby I don't make it. Our helper at school does. She boils Tulsi leaves, cloves, dried ginger in water and adds little jaggery and lemon drops( if someone likes it). She makes it for all teaching and non teaching staffs in our mid morning break. It's very refreshing.
