A strange feeling on the stairs !

So I saw on tv last night a lady that I had remembered seeing previously saying that she had married a ghost !
Yes, I know how crazy that sounds !
However, it did get me thinking about this whole spirit, supernatural, ghost thingy ….
We moved into this house 5 years ago ….just The Mister and myself.
Right from the start I felt …..I can’t really explain it easily …..but a ‘ feeling ‘ when I was half way up the stairs.
I never feel anything when coming down the stairs only going up.
I feel like there is a presence and that I must get to the top quickly before something happens.
I am sure that something happened halfway up the stairs.
I have tried asking the neighbours about the previous occupiers but it seems there were no serious accidents.
The Mister never feels it at all.
Even now , after five years I still get the strangest feeling…..
What are your thoughts ?
Do you believe in ghosts ?
Have you ever seen a ghost or had a spooky feeling somewhere ?

I don't really believe in ghosts but I had several disturbing things happen to me when I lived with my parents in one of the houses.

@Traceyjayne I heard the steps creaking several nights; and there was no one there. Another thing, quite embarrassing to talk about. I felt someone's hands on my body....and I was NOT asleep and dreaming it. That really freaked me out.

Check the railings in that area and be careful going up and down the stairs. You might be having a premonition of a fall you'll take in the future.

The Mister took the rail down when we decorated and replaced it ….it is secure ….
It’s a feeling of someone else ….a presence ….being there.

I have never seen a ghost before in my lifetime. I have yet to experience the feeling of meeting a ghost.

When we moved into our now "Old" place, that first night I woke up feeeling like either a dog or a small child was jumping on the bed. Of course there was nothing there, so I thought it was a dream. As I was about to go back to sleep, it felt like someone sat down on the other side of the bed. You know how it kind of dips...anyway..no one was there of course. 2 nights later...there was a very tiny closet behind the bedroom door. I dreamed (I guess) of going out the door and someone in the closet grabbed me and pulled me into the closet. I fought them and got away...hollered at them....This is MY house now...Get out of here! Never had anymore problems...except the normal house settling noises. I know what happened doesn't sound real...but trust me...it was VERY REAL! Haven't had any problems here at the new house. The Spirits must like us.

I certainly do believe you .
I think these sorts of things happen more often than we realise but people don’t usually want to talk about them.
