A Little Peace Now?

The last few months have been a sort of hell for me. I started there nine months ago and the job is great. However, my immediate boss took a sort of dislike to me and decided to make my life a living hell. She picked on everything I did and it got to a point I was dreading going in every day. Luckily, I got another; higher pay, same vicinity and I couldn't wait to turn in my resignation. However, main boss herself was around today and was shocked staff have been resigning. She didn't know things had gotten so bad and begged two of us not to live. She promised to match my salary with the new place, but also stated she couldn't lay this immediate boss off as she's a family member. It's a dicey situation now. What to do?
