A Simple Way to Protect Your Accounts

Create an email account under a fake name. Use that account to join various sites. Don't post images that can be linked to you or give out personal information.
When hackers go after your fake name accounts you know immediately that this is a scam. Whether you are told you won money or that an account is being shut it is obvious that the information is fake.
If you have friends on sites... people you know in RL.. you tell them your user name privately. Stranger who send friend requests, ignore.

That’s a really clever way to protect yourself online. Having a separate account under a fake name makes it easier to spot scams and keeps your personal details safe.
