Footprints on the beach.

Last weekend, we visited some remote beaches on Australia. The sand was pristine and the water was blue and there was plenty of fun. In a couple of them, we were the only ones on the beach with the occasional visitor for company. These are safe beaches though and we left behind footprints that would soon be blown away.

Just for fun I once walked towards the ocean leaving nice footprints then walked backwards stepping in the same prints so it looked like I'd walked into the sea and didn't come out. The prints would have washed away before anyone noticed.

@pitstop Did you ever read Phantom comics? In those he'd ride his horse somewhere (into a desert maybe?) then the horse would walk backwards in its own hoofprints and people would think the Phantom had magic powers and could just disappear.
