We came across Godavari.

Wow ..!!
.It is so long bridge built under british rule.Originally called havelock bridge.Arch like structure was a rennovation to it.
It is the third lagest bridge in Asia.
Many trains are passing through this bridge. There is another bridge across the river for roadways.I also found small ISLAND ...wow..but I failed to capture it
And Godavari has rare species of fish Pulasa
.I Tempted to eat while I watched it's videos in YT. it is born in freshwater, migrates to the sea to grow in bay of bengal, and then making a migratory journey from the Bay of Bengal during the monsoon to breed in freshwater...
I wonder how It swims against the flow. A rare ,high prized and praised seasonal fish only found in the Godavari
..I loved it's journey. Hope I get one along with me.But impossible..If fisherman catches one fish the crowd will fight for it even in auction also
.One kilo fish goes in an auction for 25000 INR approximately..How can I get it so simple
..But I will try
Godavari
....!!
one of a wonderful experience

one must have

Those fish sound like the salmon we have in the US. They're born in freshwater rivers, go to the ocean to eat and grow and then migrate back to the freshwater rivers to lay eggs and die afterward.

@Kusumakrishna I can't eat fish. I have allergic reactions to it. Pretty likes salmon, though.

Yes , I too shocked in seeing YT videos. When I have an enquiry here.It was true. It's price is too high that to only lucky ones will win over that auction. It is not like go and get for high price atleast. It is going in auction only.Too much competition for it. It is a princess here
All this is because this fish is originally born in Godavari but swims to bay of bengal(Sea) ..when it is breeding time it again swims back to godavari.
Whenever this River have floods...It is an indication that Pulasa will swim against those floods and reaches back to Godavari from bay of bengal. Due to it's swim against the floods in Godavari , It taste is so special unlike other fishes. Also credited ,the only fish which can swim against to the flow of water that too during floods Because Godavari floods ofcourse had a special history. This fish successfully swims against these floods.which adds extra taste to the exercise its body has in this reverse swimming May be.
Ancestors saying- It is worthy to sell wife's mangala sutra for buying and tasting This Pulasa. Its price is that high.yet its demand also high. But it is encountered as endangered species now.

While it is living in bay of bengal. It's price is too normal like other species. There, the same pulasa is called ilasa. On odisha border this ilasa fishing is going on as usual until mansoon.when monsoon occurs this fish suddenly disappears there and appears in Godavari.
