MacBook Air

I finally bought myself a MacBook Air 13-inch with 16 GB unified memory, 256 GB SSD, with Apple M2 chip. Its color is midnight. The last time I bought a new MacBook was back in 2015.
I feel like I am scammed again. Hahaha. But I just couldn't resist the temptation and I am happy though with what I bought. I badly needed a laptop that is on top of the line because I have so many tasks to do. It is really good for my passion for books.
It's been two year that I was meaning to buy one but I couldn't afford. Now that I can, I think it was about time so I did. I promised myself I won't be buying a new laptop for another at least five years or so.
What are your thoughts? How about you guys? How often do you buy laptops?

I only buy when necessary when either the updates stop working or what have you..so around every 5 years.

That's so pretty, hahaha, got scammed by buying expensive ones, but I think you deserve it, for not buying a new one after a decades - you truly deserve to buy a new one.

My last laptop was 6 or 7 years old when the screen started to fail on it. It had what looked like a bruise that started in the top left hand corner of the screen and started spreading slowly... This current laptop I've had for 2 or 3 years now.
I'm glad you could afford a new laptop. I hope it lasts a long time.

My laptop is getting up there. I probably will have to replace it next year maybe. My desktop is very old; but it suits its purpose.

Not too often or can say like yearly once...I only Buy when my current laptop stops working
