A fully adhoc and prompt discussion after a long time. 14 Sep' 25 : Sunday marks the almost Mid of the Month of Sep ' 25. Life Updates I have got a new and bigger responsibility in my workplace. No salary raise as of now because a cycle was already on. However, my ongoing performance would matter a lot. It is one thing to do one's own work and promote it, defend it and improve it. It is another thing to be responsible for others' actions and those actions affecting a bigger group. So it is a mix of challenges as well as opportunities. There was a time when I used to go into shells and somehow that made me miss a few of those challenges and opportunities. Yet, do I keep on blaming myself for those days when my mindset, background conditions and multiple factors were also at play. Perhaps, no. Lessons in life make us wiser although sometimes we learn at a cost- big or small. The key is to try and make learning curve shorter. Covid Mylot Days Covid days - primarily the major part of the years 2020 and 2021 were challenging. People had to get confined within their homes plus surrounding areas. Many lost their lives, jobs and livelihoods. Business, Travel and many other aspects suffered a lot. Yet I remember the extra times I got to come here on Mylot. There were interactions with the likes of JudyEv, DianneN, Horse, Carol and many more that I remember. I even once had Mylot open on close to 25 tabs ! Do you have any special memories of those days? Lastly, this year I have lagged terribly in book reading. Family matters, Work pressures, Extra Online course(s) and related work and some Travel have led to conditions not conducive for book reading. Yet now I am longing to start a new one. I would have to tweak out time for doing so. Well, lots of talks and some "lesson" giving! Going on would make many of you feel sleepy So, what's up in your life, and any special things to talk or share about?
