I Thought It Was Just Paperwork… But Look What Happened!

So earlier today, I got a message from the admin of my former school asking me to come and sign my Daily Time Record for August 2025. I actually resigned on September 1, so I had to go back. After taking a bath, I fixed myself up and drove to the school. When I arrived, there was a seminar going on at the activity center. As I was heading to the office, some of my old students saw me. They greeted me, waved, and some even did the mano. They were even saying I should come back to teach since, according to them, no one has replaced me yet. I went to the office first, then on my way out I bumped into one of my closest colleagues. We hugged because we really missed each other. As we walked down to the school grounds, a lot more students greeted me. Honestly, I felt a bit shy because it seemed like I was stealing attention from the seminar speaker, so I just waved and walked away a little. But then, two of my former students came up to me, asked how I was, and even wanted to take a picture with me. My colleague then asked if I wanted to drop by the faculty room. To be honest, I used to avoid going there after I resigned because I knew I’d probably end up crying. But today I missed them so much that I finally went up. I was really happy to see them again—I realized just how much I missed everyone. Before heading home, we also had some picture-taking together

Thank you! I really miss my students and colleagues, and it felt so good to see them again today. Right now, I’m focused on my next steps with migrating, so going back to teach isn’t possible yet. But who knows what the future holds?
