Monday mornings are when I weigh-in on the scale and also take my blood sugar reading.
I'm not diabetic, but I'm pre-diabetic and I have to keep an eye on it.
I don't eat bread. I gave up chocolate. I mostly eat meat and protein bars, but unfortunately the only protein bars I can find without nuts (allergies) have 17 carbs apiece, which translates into sugar.
My weight was stable this week. I'm not disappointed, because it can't always be a loss, but I am grateful to be down about 8 pounds in the last 2-3 weeks.
My blood sugar was up by 10 points.
Do you measure anything on a routine basis?

I planned to start healthy eating again this week and also getting more exercise. Since being off work I have not been very active nor have I really thought much about what I have been eating. I went to go on the scales this morning and the battery needs changing….oh well. I will get more exercise and do my healthy eating ….and weigh myself at Moms on Wednesday.

I weigh myself once a month. My daughter takes my blood sugar readings once a week. I'm considered diabetic even though my readings are always pre-diabetic. I had ONE reading that was too high so am labeled diabetic for the rest of my life. I didn't give up breads, I still eat chocolate and eat normal meals. I've lost about 47 or so lbs since April. My doctor is happy with that.
