September is half way gone already. Now, it has gone really fast in my opinion. Nothing of note here but we are expecting a couple of days of rainy weather. I hope it is mostly over by Wednesday afternoon though, as I was planning to go to the mountains and check out my fave store. The national park is near there too, but friend tried to make me promise not to go there by myself. I told him if I went, I would just be in the car and maybe pop out to do a picture or two. I wasn't planning on hiking any trails. He said too many people go missing in national parks to take chances going solo. That isn't a daily occurence in my opinion, and though I probably wouldn't walk the trails by myself..I don't think being at an overlook is exactly life threatening.

I wouldn't. He would be upset. I might tell him sometime after I came back.

@snowy22315 - Well, let someone you trust know where you are.

That sounds like fun. You should post some pics while you are on your trip, and we can live vicariously through them!

I agree with you, especially if you don't go far. Many people like to go off trail and then it's easy to get lost.

Get lost, or get hurt, or possibly snatched. or worse..who the heck knows? Better to go with someone if you are going to do the trails.
