I did and I didn't.
I was an excellent student, straight A's, all through 12 years of public school.
But I was bored. It wasn't challenging.
I waited until I was 31 years old to start college and absolutely loved it. I soaked up and learned everything I could learn about anything and everything. I earned an Associate Degree, a Bachelor Degree, 4 Masters Degrees, and a Doctorate. I just kept going and going while working full time.
I liked word-based courses best, business and communications. I did not like Math or Statistics or even Science.
What did you like in school?

I had a ball in high school with my friends and we made my mom's apartment teen central where we could hang out and enjoy our music, That was great, Grade school I was still much too timid and shy and university frazzled me,

@looeyville I absolutely school. I was home schooled till I was 10 which was fine, but beyond that it was awful. I seemed to be the only one there who was there to learn. I loved learning but not a lot of learning was possible in school for me. French and geography I excelled at, and kids even fought over who would get to sit next to me in French class so they could copy my answers. So I loved university where I could go at my own pace and ignore the time wasters. But school was awful. I could go on at length but I think you get the picture.

I was never a fan of school. I was a pretty solid B, C student though. I did enjoy college however . Most of my classes interested me..so that helped a great deal

I mostly enjoyed school. I wasn't a math whiz but I loved science and English. I've done a few college courses online and enjoyed those, too. (I've mostly taken computer courses. That's why I help people on myLot when they have trouble with their laptop/desktop.)
I spent 14 years working at Walmart in the Electronics Department and was the sole Phone salesman for several of those years. I also help people on myLot if they have phone problems.
