It is rain again. this time calcutta is flooded. The poor drainage in calcutta leads to heavy waterlogging even during autumn. This is the time when monsoon should retreat. Instead the rain is causing hindrance. Travellers face huge harassment with the waterlogging.

This is the case with almost the whole of India. My city too is facing this problem in low lying area.

It's important for streets to be well-drained but I guess sometimes it isn't easy to do.

thanks Judy generally the water which is additional is pumped to river Ganges. But the process is slow. It takes 2 days for the entire adding to suffering
