I’m a Little Late, But The ‘Ber Months Are FINALLY Here!

I know I’m late on posting, but I don’t care, the ‘ber months are FINALLY here! September, October, November, and December. My favorite time of year! If any of this is “too early” for you, that’s cool, but this is your warning so you can hit the back button. :) I understand a lot of people don’t like the cooler (or cold) weather, and I get it. However, I’m not a fan of the blistering heat, sweating to death, and, of course, the mosquitoes. I’ll take the crisp air, cozy cardigans, and gorgeous scenery any day. (Not that it matters, but I don’t HATE summer, it’s just not my favorite.) I’m also excited for the activities that come with the ‘ber months. The holidays - Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas - are my favorites! We don’t have tons of guests over for Thanksgiving, other than my younger sister in the morning. Our bigger holidays are Halloween and Christmas. There’s also pumpkin patches (I’m not big on haunted attractions anymore), hayrides, fire pits, watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, holiday lights, decorating, wrapping (most of the time, lol), etc. It’s a time to break from my normal routine of writing and grocery shopping. A time when my loved ones and I can walk through the park, enjoying the scenery, without feeling uncomfortable. My family watches spooky movies all year-round, so Halloween season doesn’t change anything, but it’s almost time to watch The Great Pumpkin! I love Snoopy and The Peanuts Gang lol. The only bad part? It’s cold and flu season, but I’m on it! My doctor’s office didn’t have any flu shots, so I’ll go back up there in a few weeks. But all in all, this is the time I “come alive” lol. It’s still warm out, but I’ll have my cozy autumn weather before I know it! And if you don’t enjoy the cooler weather, don’t worry, it’ll be spring and summer again before YOU know it! :) Alrighty, back to work, I go!
