The Closed Circult TV is what most here instal for safety It keeps a track of who visits. The cost depends on the numbr of cameras one installs. My neighbour has one and it covers even our gate and that is enough for me and have therefore not installed one There have been several robberies reported and that has made most hosues t install CCTVs Have you installed one? I have installed one that can be accessed via any device as long as the camera remains connected to the internet.

@allknowing it's not that easy, this camera is only for registered people so it can't be done with a link.

It is a big deterrent for anyone to do something illegally to your property. Although it is not a must especially when budget is concerned. But it is pretty convenient and handy documenting any incidents that happens around your property 24/7.

@allknowing True, but if you can afford it, it might provide better protection for your property. It's like having a 24/7 security guard that never needs to sleep to keep watch over your belongings.

I have installed fingernail cameras here that use our wi-fi to broadcast pictures/videos to our laptops/cellphones. As long as we're within the wi-fi limit, we can see things happening in and around our house and yard. Someone else could also watch what happens on the cameras if they know or guess my password. So far, that hasn't happened.

This seems something different but as long as you are protected that's all that matters.

@allknowing Yes, they're tiny, hidden cameras.

No, but my apartment complex installed one around their main office. Apparently, they do not care about the people in the apartments, just their precious office.
