I got a text saying I have an appointment in a town about 35 miles away. 
Tomorrow morning, I'll have to call and see if I can get a ride with my Health Plan's transportation. If I can't, I'll have to call and cancel or reschedule or whatever I need to do. 
So, tomorrow morning nearly first thing, I'll have some phone calls to make.
Tomorrow's Wednesday, so there will be Bible study at church in the evening.
Oh, wait. I just read on the calendar that I have a telephone appointment tomorrow at the time the 35-mile away appointment is supposed to be...?
Oi. Guess I'll have to call the Health Center and see what's going on.

Sounds like you have a bit of a scheduling tangle there. Good idea to call first thing and clear it up before making travel plans. Hopefully it is just a mix-up between the in-person and telephone appointments. At least you still have Bible study in the evening to look forward to. Sleep well and I hope tomorrow goes smoothly for you in California.
