It was a trying day.
Mother-in-Law is really only hanging in there mentally by a mere thread. Which makes getting things done with her a challenge because she doesn't realize she's not well.
I'm going to pat myself on the back that I was able to get her out of the early lease termination fee and reduced what they wanted her to pay from $1870 to $435. I'm very proud that I was able to accomplish that. She has no concept of that I did.
Got her banking done.
Did her laundry for her.
Took her to the grocery where she acted like a kid in a candy store.
Now I need to rest.

You deserve a rest. Maybe you can get hubby to help a bit more, or get a home health aide or something.

That's the hard part of watching loved ones struggle. Today, George and I went to the bank, to talk to Norm. He has mild to modorate vocial afasia. well, he said I'm on my last recovery leg. He wasn't aware he'd really said it, when I asked him about it later. Sometimes he realizes he made mistakes, other times, he's self-aware and self-corrects.
