Calamansi fruit

Good day to everyone. I'm very happy now that our two shrub or small trees of calamansi are now bearing citrus fruits. We don't have to buy now in the market, we can just pick them in our backyard. When we are sick or with cough and fever we usually make a hot calamansi juice and it is delicious. You need to add sugar. You can prepare it hot or cold. It is like a Filipino lemonade. It is 3 days now that there are no classes because of the typhoons here.

I have not heard of that kind of fruit. It sounds tasty though; I wish I could try it.

It is native here in the Philippines and always in our pantry or kitchen, use in toyomansi condiments or soy sauce and calamansi dip

We also have calamansi trees... But they don't bear fruit that much right now... I am just glad that we also don't buy when we need some for our dipping..

It's always very satisfying to be able to pick your own fruit.

Some trees are hard to grown but not this one. I thought they are hard to grow because it is not common to have calamansi in your backyard
