Experiment with Real Corn

I fed the Kitties and the Birds, and sat down to smoke a cigarette. A few minutes later there was Nutty. He went to the feeder HE likes...No Corn...He sprawled out on the feeder and looked at me with those pitiful eyes. I had the Real Corn Ready. I shucked the ear while he watched me. Then took it to the feeder and he went over to the other tree and sat there. I put up that Fresh ear of Corn...a few minutes later Nutty came over and took a look at the corn...smelled it...and then looked at me likt "What the Heck is THIS?" He came down the tree and looked for peanuts, but I hadn't put any out yet thinking he would like the corn...NOPE...so I threw some peanuts out at the tree, and he found one and went up the tree to eat it. Mr. BlueJay saw the peanuts and he came down and tossed the little ones and grabbed a double one. I threw a few more out. But later I went to get my hair cut...when I came back I could see that either Nutty or a Bird had been nibbling on that corn, but not much was gone. Guess I will put out the old hard ears of corn tomorrow. Called HULU today and let them know I was about to cancel my subscription, and that from what I saw on Hulu's FB page...there are plenty of people who are going to cancel as well. Tom says a friend of his is connected to a service that he only pays like less than $50 a month...will find out tomorrow. We had Philly Steak and Cheese on that good Garlic Bread tonight. Trying to think of something for supper tomorrow night.
