Spending the week in Rhyl

So I had a lovely week in Rhyl in Wales. Couldn’t do anything in the Monday as we couldn’t book into the caravan until 4pm so I stayed in The Misters work van and watched him work ! During the week though I found my way into the town centre and the beach. It took about 40 minutes to walk there. A lovely clean beach, very quiet as the children have gone back to school now. They have a few of the traditional seaside gift shops …..selling rock, buckets and spades and cheap gifts ! Other than that , there were a few of the usual shops that you find in any town. I went to Rhyl almost 40 years ago but have to admit it was nothing like I remember ! Anyway, having a walk along the promanade in the sunshine was lovely. I certainly enjoyed my week.
