A week from today, I'll close the chapter of my Goodwill career after 2.5 years. I've officially turned in my resignation letter, have my work verification letter set for my transportation, and brought new black pants and black sneakers for my uniform. I just need to buy a blue polo shirt until I get my uniform and name tag. And yesterday, I received my first 3-day 15-hour work schedule for Acme, starting a week from Sunday at 1-5 after church. It's no different when I first started out Goodwill to work the afternoons from 1-6 PM in my first months. Then I'll be working 3-9 on Monday, no different than when I work 9-2 (which haven't changed in a year and remained permanent with new management and keyholders. And Saturday 4-9, which is no different when I worked Saturdays up until last October, when my schedule changed. Though I've told the manager 8:30, since that's the latest the bus will pick me up ,and take me home, that might be adjusted a tiny bit. I'll remind him next week.
I'm getting ready for the new normal. But this schedule is doable for me. I can clean, write/edit, do chores or have morning appointments, volunteer at the shelter, have breakfast at home, hang out with the cats, and do other stuff I need to do. Though the zoo will be tricky since I have 8 weeks left until I'm on my winter break. I had to switch Boo at the Zoo's morning shift to the Friday evening shift, due to a conflict with the bus from the zoo and work, with a small window. And I know my hours and days would be varied per week. So I'm going to have early lunches and dinners to figure out. Any ideas for meal planning suggestions? I'll check back in tomorrow afternoon and evening.

I'm glad you have a new job to get to. Or go to lined up, ready to go.
