We’re now in Beacon where we’ll have two nights in the caravan park. For every night that you book in here, you get a voucher to spend at any one of a number of businesses. The guy who hands out the vouchers when he checks you in is very generous and we were give three vouchers instead of two. We used them last night at the Country Club here to buy our dinner. I had garlic prawns and Vince had squid and chips. It will be a big night there tonight as there is free food and drinks while the AFL grand final will be televised. That’s Aussie Rules football and is a big thing here. After the match they will be playing Bogun Bingo so we might go down for that. The photo is of some of the metalwork sculptures in the street.

That sounds like such a fun stop! The voucher system is a nice bonus, and those sculptures look really interesting too.

Sounds like fun and great value! I love all these sculptures. Metal sculptures seem to be a big thing over there! Do they have lots left over from some sort of installations or something?
