Actually Robert Redford was not the actor in my time and therefore I haven't watched many of his movies. His movies The Last Castle and Sneakers are impressive to me.
Lately Robert Redford passed away and I heard more about him. This is why I watched some of his classic movies which I haven't watched before.
And today I watched one of his movies The Way We Were. Of course there will be a generation gap and this is why I didn't really understand why they ended up like that. But somewhat I still felt sad to its ending. Wondering if they happen today, will it be a difference?

I have not watched any of his movies either, but heard a lot recently. I can comment something only after watching it.

I don’t think I have seen this particular movie of his, but if it ends sad, I probably won’t watch it. The two of Robert Redford’s movies I did watch, Up Close and Personal, and The Horse Whisperer were pretty good. My late mom liked his older movie, The Sting.
