Wow. I did not see that one coming. I did read something over the summer about her looking into like Portuguese citizenship or property. I don't remember the specific details now. I didn't see that as an indication that they were going to split up though.
It is being reported that Kidman did not want the separation. That makes it even sadder. It is one thing when it is a mutual decision but it is another when it is made by just one member of the couple.
I'm sad for her and their children.

Yeah, that news really took me by surprise too. They always seemed like they were in it for the long haul. It's a good reminder that we never really know what's going on in someone else's relationship.
You hit the nail on the head about it being one-sided. That's the toughest part. It’s so much harder when one person is moving on while the other is still fully invested. I always think situations like that reveal a lot about a person's character.
It definitely makes me value genuine communication and loyalty even more. Stuff like this just reinforces that. Makes you wonder if the constant pressure of fame makes it impossible for any relationship to survive, or if some were just never built to last.

I have heard of both of them, though I don't really know what they do. Yes, my kids did fine yesterday. I hope you liked the song I posted. I think I've posted it it before, though. I wonder if @FourWalls knew more about Rob Ickes than I did before last night.

@TheHorse — know about Rob Ickes? I know him! Before he started winning the IBMA dobro player award so many times they just renamed it after him, he was my buddy Charles Whitstein’s dobro player.
