Are People Really This Dumb?

I frequently see an ad on TV for this app called Rock Money. Have you seen it? The guy in it is a moron. It's supposed to help people keep track of their apps. So, my question is this? Aren't most people smart enough to know which apps they subscribe to? I mean our monthly finances are just basic finance 101. You make a list of the bills you are responsible for each month and pay them when they come due? Right? Why do we need an app to keep track? I can see one good aspect only. They will cancel the ones you no longer want for you. That can be a hassle so having someone do that for you would be nice. What do you think?

A lot of financiers push apps but I bet they get a percent of funds. Most places send email reminders of upcoming payments. I have two on auto pay and opted for email reminders for the other. Easy. No app needed.

I do that too. I have all the apps on my Roku ready when I want to watch something. It's the Game Network on Philo right now.

I don't see the point of Rocket Money either. You get and look at your credit card bill; so you know how much you are being charged each month.
