Roseau County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) which is located in Minnesota are pleasing to the people in Warroad Minnesota do not attempt to pet a loose bobcat that escaped from its owner on Thursday September 25. Officials with the Minnesota Department Of Natural Resources as well as the RCSO are asking anyone who sees the loose bobcat on the road to contact them so they can catch the bobcat. It is known if the owner of the bobcat legally owns the bobcat or not at this time. My hope is that the bobcat is caught in a humane manner by the authorities. Link is upi.com/7391758901203 via @upi

I can understand thinking at first glance that it might be a big house cat. Not like the “don’t pet the fluffy cows” signs at national parks.

Bobcats do look like normal sized cats.

I wonder what nut is trying to pet it. Those things will claw your eyes out if you bother them. Mostly, they stay away from humans.

I wonder why anyone would want to have a bobcat as a pet myself.

Yikes. Yeah, if I saw that in the neighborhood petting it would not be what I would think of.

That is dangerous to have such a critter free in public places. Let's hope that they catch it soon.

Animals such as this should not be pets. I feel sorry for the bobcat.

I agree with you since I only want dogs and cats as pets.
