I got a call from the doctor I saw yesterday, after I was supposed to have an MRI that didn't happen. He had called the hospital to see what exactly they found, etc. The person he spoke to told him that I have more than one shunt (I knew I had one placed because I was born with water on the brain) according to recent CT scans. Say what!?!? Nobody ever told me that! Also, evidently that one of the shunts has become detached. (!?!?!?) So, I'm supposed to call a guy to schedule an appointment two towns over, where they evidently have more of my records and stuff. Why they would have it there I have no idea. Sheesh. So, now I'll be calling this other person. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
