Yesterday, while I still had internet, I was on Disney+ and checking out Cinderella and Bambi after thinking about how long it had been since I saw them. I found an area of Disney 70th Anniversary. They had short videos of several of the attractions and rides. One was the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and another was Incredicoaster, each were as if you are right at the front of the ride. It took you through the entire ride like you are on it and experiencing. Pretty fun. There was also Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars. Fun!
This reminded me of the time I almost got to go to Disneyland. I was about 12 and my grandmother, mother and aunt (and her kids) had come to Anaheim, California to visit great aunt June. They were going to take us kids to Disneyland and Knoxsberry Farm the next day, so I went to bed very excited thinking about the adventure the next day. I woke up feeling awful in my tummy. Cramps! I had started that monthly thing and felt awful. So, no Disneyland.
And I never got another chance.

Sorry that you never went to Disneyland. I've never been either; but I really never wanted to go.

I don't now. It seemed exciting back then.

Sorry to learn that you fell ill the day you wanted to visit Disneyland.
