Mylotter friends, today was a bittersweet day for me. After a long year of wanting to do it, I finally left Goodwill after two-and-a-half years. Like Danielle said to me a year ago, thank you Goodwill. And I will say it now. Thank you Goodwill for the work experience, for gaining customer service skills as a wares cart Runner and then a retail sales associate, and worked hard from being a textile processor for two years, and endured osteoarthritis and scoliosis of the spine, two years ago, when I hurt myself on the job. I've made some good friends, who had left before me, and who had stayed there. I didn't get a chance to get most of my friend's numbers, but I will do it sometime In the future. But I'll stay in contact with more of my friends via cell/text, and Facebook, if they're on it. And maybe someday I'll meet up with them in person, or they'll visit me at my new job. I plan to visit Goodwill as a visiting customer too.
Like I did in the past with Goodwill, I'll do a weekly update on Sunday and Monday's days at Acme, and post it on Tuesday afternoon. I didn't get my new schedule yet, but will find out on Sunday during work. And Lauri will start job coaching for me on Monday, probably from 4-5 PM. It's going to take a long while to get used to my new normal with an inconsistent work schedule and early meal times. But hopefully I'll be less stressed and relaxed with letting my grievances go from Goodwill. I'll be waking up 15 minutes later, but wake up still at 7 to schedule for volunteer days, or work days like next Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday next week. And then go back to bed for a few more minutes. In the end, hopefully my physical health and mental health will be better, as long as there's no heavy lifting involved at Acme. But I'll find out soon enough.
Stay tuned. I'm going to decompress this weekend and be back next week with an update.

our health is our main concern in life, with our health being hampered
with work it leads to other problems later on in life as we age.
