What logic is this?

This neighbour and I are friends and that does not mean I should just let her do something that harms my pets.
She has dogs and one of them is known to kill cats whenever he spots them The problem is she lets her dogs out and they are seen on roads Only stray dogs are seen roaming around like that When it comes to cats it is not possible to keep them indoors and they visit homes. She expects cat owners should not let their cats out just because her dog might attack them
Is this logic?

I guess that is irresponsible letting a dog that has a tendency to attack cats be allowed to roam the streets freely. If the pet owner know that his pet dog has intolerance on cats he should restrain it so as not to harm others. He should either train his dog to be tolerant of other animals or limit it within his property.

Dogs have a natural tendency to attack cats. Your neighbors already know that there's a problem with one of them. They can, if they want, keep it confined at a certain place or restrain it's movements in smaller area if they have. There's no way you can do the same with cats. But why should they do too?
See if you can convince them.

When we were living in the city we had dogs but we were living in a flat Every single day we would take the dog for a long walk. She can do that too.
And talking about dogs fighting with cats that is old story We have cats and dogs liviing in harmony for years. Preti our dog waited for the neighbour's cat to arrive and they would play together too Here is a small video clip

@allknowing I know about the sweet bonding but there are exceptions... A man, a member of our Cooperative was taken to task after a meeting was called. He had left the dog unleashed deliberately.

Dogs should not be allowed unsupervised, and your neighbor is very wrong. A high profile star in America just got arrested for his dogs killing another person’s pet. He was held responsible for it, and charged with animal cruelty. It doesn’t matter if he was sorry; he took on ownership of his dogs, and he should have been more careful.

Here people get away with anything and she expects me to keep my cat inside I will handle it now . Not fair she leaves her dog to roam the streets.

Dogs are definitely more dangerous than cats to let roam free. I get cats because all kinds of people have ally cats and they never harm anything but you cannot let any dog really roam like that. There might be a few who community knows and they are probably older, but dogs are to energetic and true to their wolf ancestors when you let them run wild
I think most people who do that never knew how hard dogs are to care for and thats there way of trying to get rid of them. Then there is like my old neighbor who just wanted his dogs to intimidate everyone as to say I run this place. That did not work out well for him.

@allknowing Do because some people just ignorant to their own mindset. They were raised a certain way and never took in to account how it effects other people.
