So Many People I Know Have Had Car Wrecks Recently

I'm already nervous with all the distracted drivers out there, but just in the last two months it seems like everybody I know has had a car wreck. First there was my card-playing friend Ginny who says the wreck wasn't her fault, but I think it really was, who totaled her Honda Civic (older model) and had to buy a newer used Jeep Wrangler. Then there was the mother-in-law who side-swiped a tractor trailer. Next was my friend's stepdaughter who hit a car that turned left in front of her. Then there was the myLotter who just had a wreck totaling her car. Now this morning my friend Amie in Chicago says she had a wreck (her fault) and totalled her 11 year old car and had to go into debt to get a new one. I think I'm forgetting a couple of other ones as well just in the last two months. It really isn't unexpected given the declining quality of driving skills and increasing amounts of distractions. Are you seeing lots of bad drivers?

That's why I'm terrified to drive these days. I used to drive all over the place but no more. I see a lot of bad drivers when cousin #2 takes me places....including her!!!!!!!!!

Ofcourse.there are many incidents like this here. More of car accidents in our surrounding and on TV news which were telecasted from other part of country.I think there should be only single front seat so that some drivers atleast focus on driving.and drunk and drive tests were repeatedly conducted here to avoid such accidents.Also some drivers were naturally poor in concentrating on their drive due their personal disturbances. And some possess literally poor driving skills but they come to public. Such type of incidents were more common in our country.

Oh yes there are many dangerous drivers here.. Its deadly as a pedestrian even when you are very careful. Many hit and runs here.

They are out there. My wife and I notice many accidents when we are out and about. I practice defensive driving and that does help, I think, a little bit. But it can't prevent everything.

What mylotter totaled their car? It wasn't me. I haven't had an accident for 30+ years, and don't consider myself to be a 'bad driver." Accidents happen.

Lots of bad drivers here. They do not stop at stop signs. They go the wrong way on a one way street.

Yes I have been seeing bad drivers on the road these days who have a bad habit of either running traffic lights or stop signs at intersections.

Interesting, I haven't heard of a friend or family member who has had an car accident in a good few years. Could be that there is so much traffic over here, no one can get up enough speed for a destructive crash
