Well, been busy.

This morning was another one of those where we got up, got dressed and headed out the door to go shopping. Yes, I said shopping. We did our weekly shop. George also surprised me with a trip through a mcdonold's drive-thru. Although, he tried to order beef beritos. Fine. Breakfast was over, and I'd just ordered my usual. So going out the door without food, wasn't a problem.
It looks like it wants to rain, and it apparently has. Not that George and I are complaining. We're home and the cold stuff is in the fridge and freezer.

Sounds like a productive and pleasantly surprising morning! 
The "beef beritos" mix-up is hilarious and such a classic couple moment. Glad you got everything put away before the rain started—that's the perfect time to be cozy at home.

I have to give my husband credit, he was trying to say hashbrowns.... but didn't realize he'd made a mistake until the cashier informed him breakfast was over. I didn't say anything, either. Because, I know he's trying. Post stroke brain.

@reploid I've been disabled my entire life. I know how hard it can be when you're forced to re-learn how to do things, and have new challenges to face. The fact that my husband and I share the same values as our late parents, helps. They tought us a lot about what it really means to be married.

we do our bill day shopping & lunch every time & that's
mostly 2 times a moth within a week of 1 another.
I spent most the day working on the outside pond yesterday
& today, yesterday I worked on emptying it & cleaning it
today I spent the day working on redoing the bog tank.
Tomorrow I HOPE I will get it all done so I can turn on the
bog tank & SEE what it's going to do as far as keeping the
water cleaner longer, but with goldfish I'm not sure.

@kaylachan I have 17 large goldfish & about 10-15 fry
that I told you about, I brought them in the other day so
they didn't get too cold at night, the big 1's has a clean
pond & hopefully stay that way for a while.

Glad you got your shopping done, I got my groceries with no porblems but no one to fix me food
